Would find it amusing if it wasn't so dangerous

first time i used a 20mm bending spring i got it stuck, so i pulled and pulled,it came out like **** off a shovel and smacked me on the forehead. hurt like hell.

Pah!!

You're just a -----.

Try it with a 22mm (plumbing size) sometime then you'll KNOW what pain is!!! ;)

(but the trick in doing it painless is to turn it in the direction that makes the diameter reduce as you're pulling it out)

to add, i was once struck on the head with a long lenght of 4 core 16mm² SWA when trying to release it from tyraps that were securing in to a warehouse ceiling,i had the loose end and was pulling in down with a whipping action,it snapped all the tyraps off and nearly factured me skull when it landed.ive worn a hard helmet ever since.

Oh that's nasty - I can feel the pain from here.

I think I've been very fortunate over the years in never having worn a hard hat except for one week when I was learning to drive a dumper truck ( I know - WTF was all that about??!!) and have never suffered a head injury - except when I went a bit OTT with a couple of bottles of Jack Daniels, fell over and split my head open on the fireplace hearth.

Space Corps Directive 134.1.1, Sir? No officer with false teeth should attempt oral sex in zero gravity?

So if it is installed rotated by 90 degrees using good workmanship, by competent/supervised person using proper materials, and the manufacturer's instructions don't require it to be installed horizontally, 134.1.1 is satisfied.

I wouldn't call that job good workmanship!

Had a boiler house panel+boiler today on a care home fed from the lighting board on a 1.5mm with 6a fuse... Might explain the array of 6a fuses lying in the bottom of the board.
