7 kw shower wired in 2.5 . conductors scorched and black in isolator and shower


4 double sockets spurred from one another in 1mm from 32 amp ring .

cooker isolator with socket outlet chopped in sideways :6:





Would find it amusing if it wasn't so dangerous

Can't see anyone calling that good workmanship.

Maybe if you explain then why you wouldn't, based on objective factors? I myself wouldn't call it bad workmanship unless I could give a good reason and I can't right now. I suppose at a pinch one could try to claim it goes against the accessibility requirements of the building regs, having to put in a plug which is designed to be held vertically when inserting.

I'd be thinking, whoever fitted that, was lacking in the brains department and what else have they bodged up on!

pic 2 I've done that as a temporary fix when the correct one wasn't on the van. But wouldn't dream of leaving it like that.

I'm not sure what planet our from but where I come from we call it poor workmanship and no fancy words are gunna change that.
