The mrs was looking at me having the snip and now has said no your not having it as 1 in 20 get ball pain for life that can come on years later, just mentioned it in case you had the snip?

I know loads of people who have had the snip but none of them have has had "ball pain for life" that I know.
Had it done myself and I had no problems myself. No swelling or nothing. Heard lots of horror stories about it bit its always been "a friend of a friend...."

haha.

When I went to get mine done some of the guys were going to the pub of playing footy afterwards... I like to take care of my bits so I just went home and walked around like John Wayne for a couple of days.

I think every bloke has a mate who has a compulsive urge to get his tackle out at every opportunity. It's what makes life bearable....

Hes a rugby player so used to being dropped off in a town centre tied to someone else, naked, and sent on a mission to steal some badger off a wall in a pub, or something.

Ill tell you something about me, 2 years ago, actually maybe three years ago, every time I ejaculated this hard orange crystal, a few of them would come out and it would flipping kill I tell you, naturally I looked at a few and you could crush them like they were crystallised ginger.. It went on for say 8 weeks. I went to the docs, saw a willy person at the hospital and a specialist and had tests done but nobody had ever heard or seen anything like it.

You can imagine, I'm doing the mrs and thinking ah yeah, ah yeah, arrrgggghh damn it, every time.

Anyway, it went away and hasn't happened since.

The other thing to help settle your mind, I don't know how I noticed but I I'd, 7 lumps in my neck... Like marbles, 4 one side, three the other. I went to a consultant ENT surgeon within 4 days, he then sat there and said to me there's a good chance you have lymphoma (cancer) and I, well I don't quite know what happened but I came over all funny and nearly fainted.

Within 3 days, i had surgery on my neck, he cut a few lumps out and I had to wait two flaming weeks.

Apparently there's nothing wrong and he said they are just reactive, I've still got half a dozen lumps, keeps me wondering though... Obviously I am relieved I don't have cancer but do feel for the ones of us who do and isn't get the outcome they wanted.

Incidentally I have a weird lump one the side of my calf, the doctor said its a hernia, but I don't buy what he says, think its time I had it looked at again.

I know it's easy to say, but try not to let it worry you, I've been in the same sort of boat and know how you feel. I'm sure you will be fine, 99 out of 100 times there's nothing wrong.
Thanks for sharing that.
nope, haven't had the snip. sounds like you've had a scary time though!
thanks to everybody that's commented.i really thought you all would just make jokes but it seems that quite a few of us have either experienced similar or know someone that has. nice to see we can be grown ups when we want to!

@uksparks............... it sounds like you could have either kidney stones or bladder stones. My daughter gets kidney stones that look like the middle of Crunchie bars and you can crumble them with your fingers. They go to dust. Apparently they are crystallised minerals that the body creates, but very painful to pass.

The police car was doing 80 or you?
They don't usually mind someone going a midges over the limit.
I love seeing police cars on the motorway. The amount of cars flying past me then slam on when they the the cops is funny.

hmm . could be that now ya mention it. He was difficult to understand. bloody Scottish accent!

You want to try talking to a bloody GEORDIE :banghead:

Thanks, I don't really know, fortunately it's not happening now, but even quite a leading urologist was stumped on it and didn't know. I had various tests done that didn't show anything.

I used to speed quite a bit. The car in the avatar might be a bit of a clue but I've had other fast cars too.

Now I (mostly) stick within the speed limits. With all the speed cameras around, the risk of being clocked, fined, and points is just too great.

I do a fair bit of motorway driving. The variable speed limits and roadworks average speed cameras are everywhere. So cruise control set an an indicated one or two mph above the limit, relax, and listen to a bit of Silvan Zingg.

Another up side is improved fuel economy.
