Hey. I'm back. I have installed the swa cable getting professional help from someone I found. Am now currently installing cat 5e cable as the new machine needs network connection. Still need to install a switch fuse at the machine side which was out of stock. Will do that next week.

What size cable you but in.

Hi it's me again. Need some advise. Basically there's a warehouse which has its own transformer. This transformer is 100kva which is about 140 amps. On the transformer itself it says 100 KVA and 133amps.

Customer is getting a machine which uses 200amps but startup current is 800 amps which is minimum 550 KVA.

Does the customer have to contact western power to upgrade the transformer?

contacting WPD should have been done BEFORE buying the machine, what happens if the transformer cannot be upgraded,it's not just a case of pulling one out and slapping another in .
