Which unit/enclosure to house upfront RCD?

Just looking at a CU change on a TT. I'd like to put a 100mA S type RCD before the CU. Is a 2 way (4 spaces) amd 3 metal board my only option? Its a bit big!

Have you investigated whether PME is available?
Pretty rare that it's not these days and I'd go for that every time over a TT.

Pathetic. I know some guys who can get into that no problem, over the course of a bank holiday weekend.
Although they are a bit ill-disposed at the mo.

No I haven't. What sort of price do they charge? Do they charge? Expect it varies between DNO's?

I've read an oldish thread on a forum and it mentions a price of £97 for western power to upgrade to PME if its available.

Just had western power replace old cut out on an old TT installation for PME and it was about £160+vat. Good service too

look at 4 minutes into this video. It shows an insulated enclosure for an S type RCCB. so Wylex infer this is acceptable but as stated earlier, if you contact their technical department they will not confirm that it is actually compliant. Odd to show an installation design and then not actually make a firm statement on whether or not it actually complies.
