Who's busy?

Anyone else just ticking over at the moment... Or barely? I worked 2 days last week and I've got tomorrow and Friday this week.

Where is all the work??

I don't know, I haven't done anything for nearly 2 weeks now. Been sending letters to local businesses the last days. Managed to get a meeting with a letting agent on Monday but still it seems very quiet.

guys forget work for while , take up football,rugby,cricket and join a team. go to church, send your kids to youth club, send your toddlers to playgroups.... let it find you

but i have only worked 2 days this week but ive brought in help which i make £20 a day on him but loosing other days cause we quicker. but it is craap always doing it on your own

I've been really busy last 3 months. Last 3 weeks pretty dead had to lay my apprentice off.

All previous work was past customers and not much of the new customer front. It's really grim at the moment.

Last 2 years crap, last 3 months good. Now ticking over. Where's that razor blade!

Completly packed out. Never had more work, had to turn some work away in the last couple of months. I'm based in Hertfordshire.

We're flat out at the moment. We need to take on another spark or two just to get through the next month or so! I think we might have to put our prices up

See i would have said the same 2 months ago. Too much on etc. but recently there is just not much at all

Flat out for me have been since the start of the year and no sign of slowing down. Based in Teesside

when you guys are busy to you tell customers to wait till you free or sub it out..

Ticking over just now, nothing fantastic. Just getting by really.
Maybe we could have a forum swap work shop
If I'm really busy I'll push work to a couple of guys I know because they've done it for me in the past. If everyone's busy then I'll give the client an explanation and a date. Usually that's ok

This year, until the end of May has been great, June is quieter, but had 2 calls before 9am today and got both jobs booked in so you never know whats round the corner.
