would you have a red live and a blue neutral at an accessory, persoally i wouldn't rewire whole circuit i'd sleeve the new brown to red to keep it as old colours

in fairness theres bit of a mission creep there, from one unmarked red and one unmarked blue to a heating system with ferrules numbered upyou identify the cables at every point served. This can take the form of number/letter rings/ferrules.....or colour sleeving. so... if it were lets say an S plan system...in the salamder box you have several different colours going on....
