I am planning to change my house's 20 years old DB to a new DB like in the website below:

http://www.electrolesk.com/Assets/db 3 ph web1.jpg

However, I am planning to use Hager 63A 10kA 3 pole MCB (model is: NC363A) instead of MCCB at the incoming. In addition, I plan to add in Hager Combined Over & Under Voltage Auxiliary, (model is: MZ214) and Hager type 2 SPD (model is:SPN465R).

Please advise on how to wire in both MZ214 and SPN465R in the DB.

Thank you very much.

Dear.
I replied to this thread because I thought this is the best form for electrician and other members may find it helpful because a lot of people comes through Google searching for 63A DB installation.
Cheers

Well done for trying to help Khan, fair play to you, however darwood was trying to explain the horse had bolted 9 months ago and the OP may not ever come back here, you could start a new thread if you wanted to help members with information you have regarding 3 phase in the home, some overseas members may appreciate it where we in the uk usually will not unless there is a member here who lives in a mansion.

Mr Engr Khan, I've just had a look at your ''How to connect a portable generator to a home supply system'' I'd suggest that you should call this ''How NOT to connect a generator to a home supply system'' ....Better still remove those diagrams altogether!!

Have you never heard of a DP/4 POLE MTS or ATS?? An absolute must, when integrating a stand-by or portable generator into a normally mains supplied system. What you have shown in those diagrams is damned right out and out dangerous, not only to the homeowner but any poor electrical utility worker that thinks he's working on a disconnected/denergised supply cable/equipment upstream!! I can point out a few other discrepancies with your diagrams too, but...!!

To be honest, based on the above, I'm frightened to look at the other subject advice sections you have covered on your web site!!

Quite Hilarious actually, have a look at the pictures of wiring a 3 phase meter, they itemise the out going cables, quite funny no idea who the terget market is though.
