Hi just a quick one Iv wired ovens ups few times but never wired a hob and oven seperate, so just want to check obv size depending is it for example 6mm from isolator to hob? Then take your oven off the ring in kitchen or poss pull on it's own 4mm radial on 20amp

Just run a 6mm to the Cooker via a 2 pole 45a switch. Then take 2 legs of 6mm out. One to cooker outlet and one to a socket for the hob. Wack it on an 32a breaker. But make sure you calcs support this method. If it's a normal household cooker it should be fine. But check first

Not the most helpful post, infact could be darned right misleading to the wrong person.

The OP hasn't given enough information by far to conclude what you have suggested....

True,
Some hobs are designed to have a 3p+n connection and claim a lower current per phase, it can get confusing....

That'll be France!! ...lol!!

Most cookers/ovens/hobs have a connection plate suitable to accommodate several European wiring configurations as the same model will be available throughout Europe. But the links within these connection plates will be set to the country it is being sold in. Unless of course you buy what is known as ''Brown Goods'' EG an appliance destined to be sold in one country, but bought up by people like Aldi/Lidl etc as surplus stock, and sold on in another country....

I can't see what the OP's problem is myself, if there is an existing 45A cooker switch, then just connect both appliances to a dual CCU supplied by 45A switch, or go with the second part of post *7.... Simples!! I ain't rocket science!! Though god knows what our friend from Ireland would have to say about it, using an unfused dual CCU...
