Thought i would tell you all - Contract came in Friday Afternoon. Unfortunately by current boss is now in a complete pi££ because ive been signed off work.

Well its bot entirely great, i start Friday and i was supposed to go back to work monday to thursday as was told that i could be doctors after my 3rd xray... However doctors note came this morning to say I cannot go back to work for 2 weeks...

My employer is not happy. Understandable. I certainly didnt want it to be like this. Now just feel like an idiot

Can you not go in on light duties until you get signed off?

They wont take me back for those 4 days unless i have a doctors back to work note.

They need me to start asap and personally so do i... SSP for xmas is not what i would be looking for. I just wanted to be more professional you know?

My official doctor spoke to say he'll only back the specialist... Stuck in a rut.

If you feel you're fit enough you can demand that the doctors sign you off. It's your body and you know what you're capable of.
