Wish me Luck

Ok lads, let me gt this straight.

Simon needs on site work to complete your on site observations to pass your course.

Poult needs a full time job and therefore a route to his on site observations to pass your course.

I'll ask you both first before posting it up. Do you want me to start a new thread in the general forum asking the forum members if there is anyone in your area that can take you on for what you both need? If both of you lived closer to Leeds this would not be a problem.

Im good thanks. I may have something coming up but awaiting reply. All our course is now is Site Obs and AM2 - everything else has been done - well for me.

Yes i Have to complete my NVQ onsite portfolio. I have my Driving test again on Wednesday. I had a good job lined up with a big company(once i passed my test) but it has been a while now due to failing my test first time and lots of waiting for the retake. I will be calling them again once i do pass to see what they say. I don't feel i can do much without transport as it is crucial to be mobile for getting to work with kit etc.

Worst case for me is i will have to fund my own NVQ3 and AM2 if college boot me.

I had the same crap from my college, trying to kick me off the course.......ive wrote several letters to the college and principle......what is there reason for booting you off the course? when did you start NVQ3?

Im lucky ive pushed and pushed my NVQ assessor to get out and help and fortunately he is a good guy.....im 95% green and 5% yellow as of today!

Not looking forward to this AM2 though!

@ Simon. How did the driving test go today mate?

The examiner asked me what i do, and i said trainee electrician. He replied that's what i wanted to be when i was younger but couldn't for some reason or other. Im thinking great so now he probably dislikes the fact i am doing something he wanted to do.

I did a parallel park for the manoeuvre and executed it fine, just went to straighten up a smidgen and the car in front was a good 10feet away and a guy was opening the boot, when i went to straighten up the examiner shouted no no stop not yet. I moved about 1 foot for god sake. Not like i can't see a 6 foot bloke 10feet in front of me after just doing an eye sight test reading a number plate from 20 meters away.

Serious fault for that so instant fail. A girl apparently mounted the pavement that morning when doing her manoeuvre and still passed.

My instructor said that the examiner i had is a total Ba*@!%$ anyway.

Just means waiting a month for a retake and spending yet more money on a few more hours. But thats life i guess really. :nopity::smile:

Thanks for asking Paul and hope you are good mate.

If you ask Paul nicely he would probably T bone the examiner next time he see's him, he is quite accommodating like that:sifone:

Unlucky mate, i failed my first two for daft things then passed on the 3rd attempt....

Then got banned (6 points in the first two years) and failed it again before i passed for the last time.

Its the luck of the draw on a driving test no matter how good a driver you are

Maybe Ill buy a banger when i do pass just for this. Show him what dangerous driving really is :driving:

(Joking of course)
