    Hi Luke, did you test the socket from the front at the plug end or at the cables in the back, could it be a faulty socket?

    Electric shower

    Hi, in it's failed state did you test the solenoids resistance? A faulty solenoid would cause problems with low flow which if faulty would shut off the water going through the shower, think a shower solenoid resistance should be above 3ohms. Worth a quick try.

    voltage at light fitting switch off

    Agree with truckster, are the switch wire and the feed in the same cable. To understand it a bit better, get a couple of metres of twin and earth connect the live and earth in a plug top leave the blue disconnected out of the plug and terminate the wires at the other end in block connectors...

    Bolier firing, but no hot water!

    Hi crosswire, could be a plumbing problem, when you say that the pressure rises is that the pressure in boiler? If so could be a faulty expansion vessel/tank, could also be a faulty pump or air in the system (plumbers problem).

    Need help with wiring connections

    Hi, it's terminal 2 on the room stat that goes to the Lr in the boiler. 1-common, 2-on, 3-off and 4 is for the neutral I think.
