Wanting to claim on my tools insurance and reading the policy it says"Excess is £150.00.
In another sentence it states"On each and every loss".Hoping this is not on every item stolen,or the
insurance would be worthless imho.Wondered if anyone else has a Hiscox policy with Napit and made a claim...
5544,
I agree with you entirely about the ongoing costs of scheme membership, etc
been excessive if not much notifiable work is been done. You can do minor works, with some exceptions in bathrooms afaik and ind/commercial work...
Or run a brown single and earth from the upstairs lighting circuit in the consumer unit to the 2 gang switch, disconnect the link and connect to common terminal of the 2 way switch. The circuit should be rcd,d.

Have noticed the fans that don't need the 3A fuse are at the top end of the price range, like the ventaxia inline fan and the Greenwood 100m wall fan(£80).
But can make the install easier.

If I understand correctly, you would switch off power and fit a wire link across switch you want permanent feed from,if you feel confident to do this.

Not an ufh expert ,but would you use the room stats to open the valve for each respective room, then connect the voltage free contacts of each valve in parallel and connect these inside the boiler to the two control terminals which are normally linked. So any valve opening will fire the boiler?S.
