    I'd have said yes given that the metal with appropriate fire barriers in place should contain and not aid the spread of fire. However I personally wouldnt as from doing EICRs everyday I know it's a right pain because let's face it space is limited and normally that's where everyone stores...

    Hi guys Doing my kitchen and want to put the led strips under the cabinets and also the kick boards. Any recommendations for any? The one for the kick boards would need to fit round a u shape so would ideally be flexible to bend round. Cheers guys

    Personally I just really dont like the idea of a junction box or d box on a new install. I was always taught throughout my apprenticeship and then carried into my years as a spark that when doing a new install any join like that is rough.

    Hi guys Just wondering about doing testing when not in a scheme. So I'm fully qualified and also have my 2391-52 and have turned down quite a few side jobs of condition reports. However a few people have now said to me I can do them and use generic test forms and pass these on?? Is this correct?

For the last 11 months all I do is periodics (hence why my company want me now to go on it) in just worried that I may have become complacent I do try and make sure I do it by the book so to speak especially the last 2 weeks when I got told I would go on it.
