    I think if your carefull about how you use your machines and when ! Then a single phase will work. Perhaps consider swapping out the three phase motors for single phase motors.

    Michigan is in the USA ! USA uses a split system, 2 x hots and one neutral So the average house has a 100A service at 240v But at 120v that becomes 200A.

    Yes you can do it ! but you are pushing it to the edge most electricians would be un comfortable with it as it would not be considered "Best practice".

    put one only incandesant light on the circuit, this usually fix's it. must be incandesant, cannot be led or cfl. The easiest way is to swap out one of the led bulbs. Same fixture just put a small incandesant in there.

    there is a poor connecttion somewhere, upstream of every common thing reducing the load is a temporary fix only you need to find the place where it is probably arcing if you don't the chances of a fire are very real !

    My GP told me that usually eye sight starts to deteriate at about 40. This is perfectly normal you may neeed glasses thats all But your not ready for the rocking chair yet !

    A 13A fuse will not blow at 16A. At 25% overload will hold At 50% over load will still hold, but may blow if held for long periods At 100% will usually blow.
