    Agree with Simon-0116 , the lighting circuit should be separate from the power circuit

    Yeh I see where you are coming from Marvo, thanks a lot for that idea. I will look into it in more detail tomorrow at work. As I said I'm trying to do it for the least amount possible as it's for the village and this idea seems the most feasible. Cheers.

    In France though it's so easy. No need to worry about light or heavy gauge it's all the same standard. i think it's all geared to heavy gauge as then it all errs on the side of caution. I think!!
