Yeah, I put my feet up when I can't find a decent wage. Although I'd like to make a point - Never been on the dole in my life, quite happy to sink into my savings ha!
Fair enough, I've always saved well though when I get work to look after myself when there is none and will continue to do so. I have damn good faith in the industry and men not taking the rate is the only way I can see it getting better at the mo,
Union, unite not really interested. In...
If no spark would take the rates and they only had mates and DI applying, the rate will have to rise to get some decent skill on the job. I'm a subby, Where rates are a big thing as no holiday pay, etc. 8-10 pound an hour......... BIG NO NO
Timeserved sparks that take these rates are Scum in my eyes, ruining everything we've worked hard for. 8-10 pound an hours is a domestic installers rate (can't believe I used the term DI seriously then) What the hell has happened to this industry??
I've got a Veto xxl-f and paid £160 for it, the only thing I'm gutted about is that I'll never have to buy and tool bag again. I get excited about buying new tools.
You need to go to a specialist company, the only one I can think of that does Steel explosive relief kiosk is PSF Wales and sister company to Morgan Marine GRP. Here's there website PSF Wales, Steel Enclosures and LPCB Certified Housings, Steel Industrial buildings
Qualified sparks should boycott all these 'Board change and RCD won't hold' calls so the Electrical Trainee who make them can look like the fools they are! No chance of repeat work then !
Self employed Spark............................... Domestic installer more like, not experienced enough to be working unsupervised and shat his panties when he switched everything on and circuits wouldn't hold. What an absolute burk!
Edited: True story haha
In my first year as an apprentice there was 2 classes with 18 in each....... and in the last year on my apprenticeship the 2 classes had be combined into to one due to lack of numbers, target my ---. You can't sit over someone shoulder for 4 years telling them the answers and you certainly can...
If you buy the new LED Flood lights there ment to be wired back to an adaptable box, so I would drill through the wall as planned and come out with twin and earth into the back to the IP box.... Then stuffing gland and flex to the floodlight.
If where you drill out isn't in the correct place...
You should rig up a 240volt inverter on a switch which is then bonded to the chassis. Simply lock your van.... Flick the switch and set up the video camera!!! ha ha ha
Re: NEED EXPERIENCE PLEASE HELP!!!! Willing to work un-paid to gain some experience!!
Jesus Christ man!!! You are ruining the industry before you're even in it, I'm trying to keep faith being a spark, but comments like that are just killing it for me.
