    Intermittent mcb trip electric gate

Have you checked all of the cable entry points to make sure they are 100% sealed? I had a similar issue with slugs entering a gate controller panel and crawling over live connections. Slugs conduct quite well and end being blown to oblivion when they short things out. I fill all of the cable...

    Excessive earth fault loop impedance

Another thought, how close is the main DB to the supply transformer and has the tester used a MF meter that is suitable with a high current test facility? Standard domestic type MF meters can give incorrect Zs readings if close to the supply transformer.

    Scott Tracey has died.....

The voice of my childhood hero Scott Tracey from Thunderbirds - Shane Rimmer has sadly passed away aged 89. He also starred in a few James Bond films. I met this guy at RAF Cosford a few years ago and spent about 20 minutes chatting to him. He was a thoroughly nice and down to earth guy. I came...

The dreaded BSOD! (blue screen of death)

Hager are working on one the will work on a RFC rated at 32A, however Schneider can only offer one that will only work on a radial with a max rating of 25A. So in the future you will need to check the spec of what is installed when doing a periodic as there does not appear to be any...
