    Smart Thermostat Recomendation

I think there all pretty similar. The concept of trying to control multiple rooms of differing specs with one stat is completely flawed anyway. Even if it the system is correctly balanced and TRVs fitted or whatever. It wouldn’t make any difference to me if I had a nest, hive etc or a £15 hard...

    Insulated tweezers any recommendations?

I’ve also got a pair of the knipex plastic pliers- good bit of kit to have, I frightened myself into buying them when I blew the end off a pair of pliers on a 100A supply. I now use the plastic pliers and wear goggles in live DBs!

The Knightsbridge spike lights are terrible I fitted some last year and 3 out of 12 filled with water after a couple of weeks. I replaced them with Ansell ones, far superior product.

    Multiple TT outbuildings

Thanks Davesparks, Can you expand on the CPC sizing? Are you saying that to have built in redundancy the CPC has to be sized to act as another buildings earthing conductor? Or that the CPCs impedance has to be low enough to contribute positively to that buildings earthing? Cheers

I ve just finished installing a kiosk which supplies 3 buildings, The DNO was not clear on the earthing system they would be providing, in case I ended up with PME I earthed the submain armouring only at the kiosk (2 core SWA) and isolated it at the load end...
