    Alarm control panel

Just want to make sure not to check anything else why I'm there and won't be around during the week. If it's something to do with the pcb I'll just replace it can be more hassle than it's worth fixing the pcb

I take it if there's voltage at the in and not at the out then this components faulty. What could it be if there's voltage at both in and out?

Just put my megger on a brand new d battery it's coming back at 10v so guess the megger does read dc. Just to clarify the panel should still work off mains when no battery connected?

Can you recommend a new one? I take it the 800l is not being manufactured any more. Want one that's going to be the easiest to change seen as I'm doing it for free lol

    Alarm control panel

Just had a look on the mft1552 manual it says it automatically reads between Ac and dc but will try on the battery. Fuse replaced and hasn't blown but I did leave the battery disconnected through all this would that affect anything?

That's a very good point didn't think about that. I normally do commercial stuff so abit out my comfort zone here so excuse if I miss things. I was using my little multimeter and had it on the dc (just checked the meter) but not sure if I trust it much so fetched my multifunction megger...

    Alarm control panel

I've ordered 10 fuses so plenty to play with. I'll disconnect the battery and pop a few back in see what happens. Is there any way to test the pirs or is it a case of trial and error

    Alarm control panel

The first alarm bell test isn't working but to be honest it looks like it's seen better days but that's all on that one. Second one pirs, keypad and bell box not working everything's dead about from mains coming in

    Alarm control panel

Sorry this is 2 different alarms. The picture of the pcb is the second alarm with the fault on. The bell box works on this one. The first one is a 700l which I had to reset the code for my other halfs sister. The second one is a 800l but failed last week.
