Learn something new everyday. I've never seen an electric start outboard other than in the movies. I've only ever worked on yachts and small fishing boat outboards with a pull start
If it's turning, you need to confirm fuel and air. Id have a look over the fuses first too before doing the below.
To check fuel, crack the nut at the injector, turn over briefly and see if fuel comes out. Do that for each injector. If no fuel, turn over until it comes out. If you're not...
Plenty for sale with the tone and wand as a pain.

Google BT tone, loads of 2nd hand for sale on eBay. I've tracked cables over 10 kilometres and signal is amazing. It works on cables with 50vdc live but doubt it would survive a live AC circuit. To confirm cable, short out the two conductors and tone will stop
As a day rate, I charge £750 a day for two lads to pull in cable only. They get £150-£200 each depending on their skill level. Rest is used for insurance, van cost, diesel, tyres, travel, etc. depending on location, I'd be looking to charge £500-£800 a day for termination, 2nd fix etc. if it was...
Why not rebalance the ring by extending it in one of the cavities? It's an old ideology but in theory works. Calculate the length to the two sockets feeding kettle and dryer, for example, by splitting the ring. Then calculate the distance from the other side of the split ring socket back to the...
Look for something different on the walls. Guessing a new picture has been hung or something of the nature that puts holes into walls or floors. Or a leak has caused something to get very wet. Take some resistance measurements to calculate rough distance to the fault
With the spare slots they could have just split them I guess onto additional RCBOs. Obviously 20a MCB will burn the housiender down long before it trips.
But why is there 6 lighting feeds? Assuming that 20a has 4 looking at the pic and the two 6a RCBOs are lighting having 1 each
My guess would be moisture at the plug end. Not necessarily wet, but vapour inside the plug. Or if it's a really old cable, could be starting to weather and crack?
Just do it all in your garage or loft if you hardly ever see it in the real world. They just want to be able to see that you can bend it and fix it up in a wall
I died and fell off the planet the last 6 weeks. Business partner has been away on courses and holiday, and I was left looking after the children. I'm going to be rammed on and off untill Christmas but happy to help out when I can.
