Why does anyone use the NICEIC software anyway? Surely you would produce enough certificates that easy cert or the like is better value for money? Doesn't the NICEIC charge £1.50 per cert or something?
You don't have to cover the cost of travel to and from work really. We work on JIB rules which I believe is only paying some allowance after 10 or 15 miles straight line distance from the office address. Straight line distance being a pretty long way really.
It's just all low quality Chinese ----.
We've worked along the lines of if we find a great product with great UK support then we will only fit that product.

Even Householders recognise NICEIC. Some ask for it, not too many, but it does happen. I registered with Napit some 10 years ago but changed to NICEIC a year later as no one recognised it. Probably a little different now. I still tell potential customers to get other quotes from another NICEIC...

If the integrated lights are halers then TLC have had massive amounts of returns on them. In some cases 100%. The LED lamps they sell are made by ledlite and some batches have been pretty poor, whilst overs are very good. Pot luck really
Stick extra low voltage lighting in, putting the drivers where the feeds start. Will solve your tripping issue and you can bury the elv stuff at any depth you like.
