Customer has about 50 old ~20W halogen downlights. All open-backed type, many broken GU5.3 connectors.
I can't replace 50 off with fangled all-in type LED lamps because:
1) She will have a fit at the price.
2) There would be too much light (in corridors etc) because ex. 20W halogens are too...

I've been looking at LED bulb prices for gu10's and it seems the best place to buy them at the moment is online my wholesaler can't even get close on some of the prices on certain bulbs.
Have you lot noticed the same or do I just get bad prices?

in a 230mm diameter flush ceiling fitting does anyone think a g9 bulb will create enough heat to possibly damage the wiring enclosed above im pretty sure it wont as no heat sheathing was provided for the light fitting wiring just wondered how much heat these bulbs produce.
