Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help identify this bulb, it's from a compact tractor which has four of them in the front lights. It looks a bit like H11 but I don't think the lugs look quite correct. They don't give the impression of being anything like 55W either.
Shot from the end to try and...

Hi,
I have just bought some LED replacement bulbs for our kitchen lights. I have attached 2 images for reference. I was told the replacement LEd would simply replace the standard E14 SES halogen bulbs. The problem we have is that when we have put in 3 new LED bulbs into the fitting, only the...
Hi,
I've got 8x 50w 12v halogen lights each with individual transformers in the bathroom.
Two of the lights occasionally stop working. If you pull out the bulb and re-seat it, they start working again. The bulbs are fine. Only they stop working again in a few days and you have to do the same...
I've attached a picture of a recessed ceiling light.
I can't get the fitting out of the ceiling to change the bulb.
Does anyone have any tips?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi there, I have a Russell Hobbs microwave. I have to replace a light bulb on it. The bulb comes with the base on which it says 250v 2a Z187 20w. Is Z187 compatible with T170 base? I spent a few hours googling and searching this Z187 and I can't find anything. The only place I can get a light...
Would appreciate any help. I have a bathroom downlight bulb where the pins are too thin for the holes in the plastic cube attached to the wire of the transformer. The other type of pins would be too thick. Is this "cube" missing a part? When the bulb blew I first noticed the pins of the bulb...
Hi guys, I need some help, hopefully there are some professional guys over here to help me out. I got myself a choke, ignitor and a capacitor to make my own ballast for 400W HPS Bulb, but I ran into a wiring problem, I tried to wire these things together and it didn't work and I don't want to...

Afternoon,
Is there any reason why I cant use a 240v designed post light (with E27 GLS bulb holder) to be wired into a 12v transformed external lighting circuit (obviously with a 12v bulb of suitable wattage)? I can't think of a reason why not.....

We all know the side effects of a normal 6amp MCB operating more times than often when a bulb blows (especially gls or candle lamps) but has anyone ever tried to to eliminate or reduce the nusience tripping?

Hi there,
I have a lamp plugged into a socket in my lounge and it's on a timer attachment. I'm not sure whether it's the electric or the timer that is causing the issue but the bulb seems to keep getting a build up of brown/ honeycomb colour at the bottom on the inside of the bulb it's self...
Hi, I'm interested in this lamp which has a 12V AC filament bulb. It sits in a MR16 fitting, so I was thinking: If I power it with 12V DC instead of 12V AC, and replace the light bulb by a 12V DC LED bulb, it should work.
Would it work? Would it be safe?

Hi, I have x4 spotlights recessed into my bathroom ceiling, they're the gu10 fitting 50w bulbs on a pull cord dimmer switch.
Recently I painted the ceiling and to avoid getting paint on the lights, I pulled them down from their holes. When the paint was dry I put them back in, one of them...
