ive recently started working for an ECA registered firm having myself used Easycert for the past... god knows how long. they do not and will not use it even though its the best software i have yet used.

i used to be part p reg. with elecsa, due to illness i stopped working a couple of trs ago. however i am just starting up again self emp, but av not re reg. with any elec company ie. elcsa nic napit etc. can i still fill in minor works certs? or have i got to register again and be re-assessed...

When notifying online with the ELECSA site, what goes in the BS 7671 Certificate number box on the third page.
Is it for example,
Minor works = Form 5

Hi I was wondering what certificate is required for changing just one 32A mcb to 40A mcb. It for 8.5 kw shower replacement, 15 meter of wiring is existing 10mm2 clipped to wall and there is a 45A shower isolator in meter cupboard.
Iv just got my part P registration with Stroma. I have to do notifications online, Do i still need to fill out certificates and give to the customer or will stroma do this on my behalf?

Does anybody know if a subcontractor (i.e. me!) working for a larger contractor (domestic work only) will need my own Part P registration and Elecsa/Napit etc. registration? Or could i be covered under their registration???

I did a 1st fix on a insurance job after flood damage.
Left new circuits marked up and isolated the old fuse board etc etc due to water damage and stated 2 week drying out needed.
The problem I now have is Im told by the builder the roof is still not fixed but the owner of the house...
Hi guys, i'm to replace a couple of cupboard luminaires, an extractor fan and a few SO fronts. They're all on the same circuit, RFC, the luminares and extractor are each on a 3A FCU. Being off the same circuit, can i put all these separate jobs/items on the one MWC?
