    socket ring wired in 3 core and earth - seems to be 2.5mm in old colors - the third core is blocked at each end. do sockets have to be in 2 core and earth or not? As the ring is being extended is this all going to be have to taken out.

    Single core double insulated cable, a code 4?

    Would you put this as a code 4? The cable has no earth but is double insulated and the accessories it runs between has an earth. Or is this actually okay? I can't find anything about this. Thanks
