I am looking for a single gang outlet + dimmer switch combination.
Does such an item exist?
It's for a kitchen backsplash the outlet would be unswitched and the dimmer/switch would control a light over the sink.
The whole backsplash is on a GFI so I don't need a GFI in this device.

Hi all,
I'm not sure if anyone can help but I'm looking for some advice on LED downlights and dimmer switches. First of all I'm not an electrician and I don't intend to try and carry out any changes myself I'm just looking for some guidance.
A few years back a local electrician completed an...
Existing dimmer switch wiring in attached picture. Hot and neutral in, ground wire, extra red wire that, I believe, carries the signal voltage. This controls a dimmable LED overhead light fixture with only hot and neutral wires.
I want to replace the dimmer with a normal, single pole light...
Got called out last week to some failed Kitchen Lights. They had a rather clever smart dimmer switch which usefully had a led light on it to say when it was working and connected to a smartphone. This was off, so I immediately suspected the switch as a point of failure, which it was.
Anyway...
Hello, first time poster, be gentle please...
I have a torch LED light with two lights, one spot light and the other is really a torch light. As shown in the image below, the switch is between two, six feet steel pipies, about halfway up, ordown dpending on the perspective.

Hey guys,
Hoping someone can help me. In our kitchen we have two sets of dimmable spotlights activated from a 2 switch dimmer. Since we have moved in they will occasionally flicker or switch off until you 'knock' the switch or reduce the output. Sometimes one set will just stop working for a...
Hi,
I recently bought some LED ceiling lights and installed it. It is operated by a 3-way switch, one of which is a dimmer switch( 6674-P0W - https://www.leviton.com/en/products/6674-p0w). The lights kept flickering when I turned them on. When the slider is in the low range, the lights would...
In my bathroom, ive got 2 switches that control the 5 bulb fixture over the sink. I replaced one with a 3-way switch dimmer, but not the other. When the dimmer is at the lowest setting, everything is fine, but when I raise the brightness, its flickers and buzzes. Where did I go wrong...
Hello,
Looking for some assistance with installing a dimmer switch in my basement. This is the only switch that controls the lights and there are two sets of black/white wires and a ground (see picture below). The capped black/white wires on the top in the picture below does not have any...
I need to replace a dimmer switch which controls the recessed lighting in my basement. Qualifiers before I begin my explanation - I am a complete novice when it comes to anything electrical, and the house (purchased by me) was built by the owner himself in 1995.
Last week I attempted to turn...
Hi. I am not an electrician. After some advice. I am changing a light switch in my house from a single on/off switch to a dimmer switch. When removing the old switch, there are 3 of each wire. 3 blue, 3 brown and 3 earth. The dimmer switch has 3 connections. L1, L2 and an arrow with a wavy line...
Has anyone done this successfully and if so how.
I've read that fans run off the perm and use the switches as a trigger so assuming the dimmer outputs sufficient voltage to trigger the fan it should work, but in reality will It?
Hi, im hoping someone could help me as ive never come across a dimmer switch like this, its a bit before my time. Ive upgraded some lights for a client in a bowling halls lounge, there is 230v supplying the luminaires and im fairly sure that they have used a low voltage dimmer switch. My client...
Hi, I am replacing some bulbs in my parents' lounge ceiling light to G9 5W (LED) bulbs. It was originally operated by dimmer switch, but the dimmer function no longer works, so am unsure whether to buy dimmable or non dimmable bulbs. Advice gratefully received, many thanks.
Hi there. Quick one for you hopefully. Used an mk grid switch dimmer to switch GU10 led lamps. Load is well within the rating but soon as dimmer is on there's a hum. From both the dimmer and other two way switch and also the mcb. Take it out it all stops. The mk instructions do state to not use...
Hi,
Please see the existing dimmer switch wiring with the Live & Neutral wires.
In the new dimmer switch, I've tried the Neutral in N only.
I've then tried the Live wire (brown) in the L & L1. In L the light remains on all the time despite switching. In L1 the light remains off despite...
Went to turn on my dimmer switch today and heard it blow and saw a little spark. Now it won't work. Light just underneath it and all others work fine. Do I need a new dimmer switch? Here are a couple of images which might help. The switch is for my bathroom which has 3 bulbs (Photo attached)...
