Replaced a load of downlighters today with the the lamp holder cable being connected to the tranny with a choc block but no choc box, ie not double insulated. Am I right in thinking this does not comply or is it ok as theyre low voltage?
Been to a job this morning where a guy had 230v downlighters class two in an outside bar area, they are RCD protected, is this permissible or should it be SELV?Cheers

since I fitted six mains downlighters after two weeks one blown then the second I then replaced the blown lights and it happened again. What could be the cause for this nuisance?
