    got a tns at 1 ohms dno will give us a pme for £180 or they say shove a rod in the ground ummm im thinking is there much price in it but the pme is guaranteed the ze on the rod could be varaible with the dryness of the soil what are your thoughts guys.

    Domestic PME, Radial socket outlet problem

    Domestic PME, have two 2.5mm t&e on a B32 mcb, if this was a ring at sometime then the continuity is broken somewhere and i cannot locate the break.     When PME is NOT recommended.....why??

    Something that's always bugged me, and I've never fully understood WHY (just know that's it what the regs say) is why certain installations are prohibited from using TN earthing, only TT (caravan sites etc etc). Anyone care to enlighten me?

    Sorry Jase but I've come across something similar. A cottage is supplied overhead from a local works. Not had chance to take any readings, so cant confirm if its TT or Tncs.     No distributor supplied MET on PME sytem

    Not come across this before but the installation is labelled PME system but there is no earth connection supplied by the distributor. The earth connections are stuffed inside a loose connector in the fuse box and a 4mm cable connected off the incoming water supply, obviously not allowed anyway...
