    1.0mm against 1.5mm T&E lighting circuit

Hi, to one and all, my first posting, as the title suggests, what do people think about the differences between the cables, I know that the circuits should be carefully designed and considered, insulation in lofts/walls, length of runs etc, but to my mind it should be 1.5mm. The cable...

I have had little experience with using swa, so if anyone out there could advise on a good adapt.box or junction box that allows for rear entry (phnaar), and if I should be using 2 core or three core swa ( I realise the armour is to be earthed even if I don't use it as CPC) as not sure if using...

    6mm T&E on a 32A Cooker circuit

Struck me recently as to why we use 6mm T&E for a 32A cooker circuit, when generally 4mm (clipped direct) would be sufficient. Is this a historical thing with BS3036 fuses?
