Hi all

I've have my first chance as a "company" to price for a job.
its a 10bed house converted all into self sufficient flats..
fire alarm + intercom throughout ...18 extractor fans to wire/core drill

any ideas roughly the cost of this job?

I have worked it out to cost to around 12-13k supply n fit

Is to much or to less or around about right?

i find pricing very tricky , and have no1 to ask around me

any help would be appreciated.

I have told you, ring your scheme providor or read the BGB, then come back and tell us what they said. Then we can take it from there. How do you expect to learn if you just want other peoples ideas, all the information is available to you away from the forum. #

How do you think people managed before the internet?
Perhaps he's not a scheme member more like it.

justintime you need to sit back and think about it, you have come on a forum asking for advice on pricing then shown through some of your replies that you dont have the knowledge/experience to be carrying out these types of jobs yet, ignore these posts or slag people off but i guarantee your going to get yourself in big trouble when this job goes ---- up because it will with how you are planning on doing it

Im doing it with or without your help

Yes your Honor.....I know I was not qualified to rewire this house, but hey the money was good.....sorry for the guy electricuted while shaving in the bathroom, and the other 3 who died in the fire when the CU burnt up.....But in my defence, the guys on the Electrical Forum gave me all the advice I needed.......!!!!

What you getting at archly... You havin a dig aswel

Curiosity.
By your own admission, you're new to the game, maybe get your design checked out before you begin any installation work.
If independent assessment is in order, there may be trouble ahead.
However, you can do whatever you like, entirely your own business as far as I'm concerned! :-)
