Hi all

I've have my first chance as a "company" to price for a job.
its a 10bed house converted all into self sufficient flats..
fire alarm + intercom throughout ...18 extractor fans to wire/core drill

any ideas roughly the cost of this job?

I have worked it out to cost to around 12-13k supply n fit

Is to much or to less or around about right?

i find pricing very tricky , and have no1 to ask around me

any help would be appreciated.

Method... In walls and floor board , would need to check regs for Letter. I prob will get a m8 for core drilling and chasing , the supply is three phase.. Are you saying that's not enough?

Why do you think you need 63A for a bedsit room?

How are the bedsits to be metered?

If you attempt this job on your own you will never keep up with other trades - you need to reconsider this.

I am supplying each room with its own board so rooms can be upgraded in the future. I.e to include a electric shower . But also clamp meters may go on in the future if elec bill are tooo high. I agree I will need to work hard n fast to keep up but I'm game .. If it gets on top I'll bring someone in.

How is the installation going to comply with BS7671 if each flat is only covered by one 30ma RCBO?

Which part of the regs are you referring to, the 30ma is there to comply/protect the 16mm cable supplying each board and sockets in the rooms .. This will ensure my trip time of .4 seconds This would comply with the regs + keep mat costs down

Crack on then, don't come on here looking for futher solutions when it starts going wrong as it's evident you don't seem to want to learn anything.

Not really sure where you coming from.. The original post was about cost! But I would like to hear your views on what you think I'm doing wrong, does that setup not comply?
