thanks

ok so i need someone to disconect unused mcbs, run earth wire (in plastic channel) to stopcock. . about 15 m wire i recon, and fault find the high z on dormer circuit,i know the fault find finding is a bit of string, but whats a fair price to do the other two?
cheers

If the report says that the bonding is in place and it isn't maybe you shouldn't pay him the full wack.

Good luck finding a decent sparky - there are a few on here in your area so may be they will PM you.

I think the report said he couldn't verify bonding and gave it a C2. So it was right after all ;)

hmm... let me find my bit of string ;)

first the spark said he couldnt find it, then he said he found it in cu but not at stopcock. fair enough, its not at stopcock so it has to be run.
Its gonna be practically impossible for spark to put the earth wire anywhere except around edge of ceiling (at least without taking ages and costing big ££ to go inside ceiling).
Can someone tell me, would it be legal (pass eicr) for the earth wire to be run around the edge of the ceiling/wall and paint over it? or does it have to be in a channel?
tata, no im not a girl - or a potatoe:elvis:
