Hi guys and girls, hope your all enjoying your Sunday, be it work or pleasure.

as I have said before, I am at college doing the 2365 L2, just about to fin yr 1 of it in the next 6 or so weeks, am currently building up kit for work as a mate / trainee / gopher, was looking at the Fluke T90, but have heard that fluke kit is well known amongst electricians to have a limited life

(i forget the term, but its a kind of inbuilt failure idea, only designed to last a little while)....pre determind failure sort of thing ?

...anyway if someone can shed light on this, or advise another route to take away from the T90 for whatever reason,...i am all ears,......also, lockout kits, big or small kits, any advice on where to get good deals ??

as always, thanks in advance to you all

I own 5 straight razors with 2 more on route.

they are worth over £100 new each, I could sell them all quick on ebay for 40-50 each and the average I paid for them is around £15

try and get a couple of colleagues together and see if you cant get a discount on your meter/large cost items, myself and some of my workmates at the time did, buying in bulk you can always get a discount or try your employer if its a large purchase he might pay for it and allow you to pay him back weekly (he could also give you the vat off as he can claim it back)
