hi im jasper and i could really use your help:) im designing a cable dispenser and mind if i ask to ans a few questions?
1)What would you like see if you are given the opportunity to design a cable reel dispenser?
2)Do you prefer to dispense cable automatically or manually
3)How would you ensure the cables are not tangled easily?
4)Where do you normally place this dispenser
5)What colour would you prefer to use in this product?
6)Any design themes would you prefer to feature?
7)How should I make it safer and comfortable for the users to use?
8)Ways to prevent damage to the wires?
9)Preferred dimensions? Why?
10)What should I make it out of?
11)How much would you pay the product for?
i would appreciate if you could ask around friends family members and more so that i can design a better product for the community, tks a lot:cheesy:

im asking for suggestions so that i can design it better for everyone, its for my exam tho i really want push this subject to my fullest potential

Exactly, it's like saying, what's the exact amount of ingredients you would like in your chocolate bar and then make millions on it!!

yes i know that i might ask if you r design it or im designing it. but my purpose is to ask for suggestions with the use of those qns cos some might say this feature is bad some might say that feature is bad. thats why i want it be a design where i could combine all these ideas and add in my own one which could dispense at a fixed amount. pls forgive me if this is not helpful at all and i really want to pass my exam:(

Sort of Joe, though I though I think it's a college project rather than a money making exercise.

These questions should be researched by testing rather than asking.

yes it a college project but ive done some test and i feel that if i could survey with those 4 question i could better understand from the other perspective rather then my own assumption that most are having the problems

right if thats the case ive removed those questions and i hope that this survey could fit the purpose for all

When i was studying design and tech at school the teacher wanted us to design a low cost paint tin opener, I think he was hoping he was going to make it big time by nicking our design, fortunately all our designs were crap!:)

i want to build a cable dispenser that can only dispense the right amount of wires even i have to bring it while running around while dispensing. i wanted to know if you all have any suggestions on this

Some things just don't need fixing - what's the issue with a screwdriver or even a knife out the kitchen drawer lol

1)What would you like see if you are given the opportunity to design a cable reel dispenser? I'm not designing it, you are.
2)Do you prefer to dispense cable automatically or manually. Both
3)Where do you normally place this dispenser. On the floor normally
4)What colour would you prefer to use in this product? Bright enough so I don't trip over it
5)Any design themes would you prefer to feature? Cable drum easily installed onto devise. Cable stays on the drum, and doesn't uncoil and gets caught on the dispensing spindle. Dispenser doesn't fall over. Compacts down for storage & carriage.
6)Preferred dimensions? Why? Not too big and not too small
7)What should I make it out of? Something that lasts
8)How much would you pay the product for? Cheap as I can get it [/QUOTE.
Answered in the normal haughty survey style, sorry!
