Need some advice on which way to go on a car ramp installation. Commercial Unit, Roof space and gurders about 40ft from ground, solid concrete floor throuout. No real access for cherry picker in area ramp is installed. My first consideration is that in honesty using the gurders to mount steel wired armour is not practical in this instance due to access etc. So I have 2 things in mind A) a catenary wire from one wall to the other with SWA cliped. Or B) run along outer wall then drop to floor space and use cable cover mats to reach the ramp? Problem I have is I am yet to find cable covers that will incorporate SWA? Any other ideas?

Bloody hell you would have to be very skilled with the saw to manage the same depth right the way along a run of say 5m. I'm not sure I am happy to use a stihl saw on a floor where I have no bearings on main incomer, gas or water pipes. Just don't know the best option but safety is always first though.

a FLOORSAW has depth gauge and you can set to depth as for incomming supplies they should be on drawing
electricity use a CAT
gas follow from meter to appliance
water you might get wey unless you can locate vissualy

Unit floor to girders mounjt isolator on uni incase ramp needs replaced as most ramps iv seen have removable panels for servicing, repair
UNI if joined properly is very rigid and could create quite a span

If built well enough it should last, obviously concreting would be a better option. Chasing out would be better option again I agree.

Just giving the OP ideas as they know the situation better than any of us.

If it was a viable solution to build it well enough the cost of the timber would be prohibitively expensive, cheaper to chop the floor out IMO and a better solution

Right if I notch out floor and put 6mm singles through 25mm steel conduit. The depth of the buried cable would not be against regs because its protected by steel conduit? Could I then just cement over conduit? Really I would like to notch out just enough so that conduit is sunk around 50mm. I do not fancy going deeper than that for obvious reasons.

When we do any major work on refurbs, or full new builds, we always obtain site plans showing incoming services. Not sure on prices but if you contact the local water board, gas supplier, etc, they should be able to help.

Could save you a lot of hassle if you did come a cropper on a water pipe !
