I mean bread or milk, or essentials. I wouldn't buy sarnies from petrol stations anyway. It's cheaper to make your own and at least you know where your hands have been! :gettree: smokes??? smokes??? How dare you use the F word! I have no vices.[/QUOTE]

yes you do. you call him geordie or grumpy for short.. :behead:

I may be able to guarantee that they were MADE to my hygiene standards, but I suspect they would be kept more hygienically in a petrol station or shop's fridge than sweltering away in a plastic box in the back of my car. Plus I don't have time to mess about making sandwiches in the morning, and if I did I know I would have eaten them by the time I get to work.

so why do they make a half decent sandwich, say beef or ham with a bit of tomato on, the ruin it with rabbit food and donkey snot?

LOL a guy I used to work with reckoned KFC don't use mayonnaise on their burgers, but every branch keep an elephant out the back with a migrant worker 'stimulating' the elephant to encourage it to secrete it's mayonnaise-like 'sauce'.

Fair point Adam. I used to work in a cafe, and know what goes on behind the scenes! :21:
Same here - I really hate eating out at restaurants because I've seen how they prepare what ends up on your table and costs you a small fortune.
I would imagine pre-packaged sandwiches are made in suitable hygienic factories though, by people in hairnets and white coats...
