Been getting pestered by CEF about their new M2 range of accessories.. Doing a little rewire and might try them out.
Has anyone used them yet?

Ill be dealing with regualar square edge switches and sockets, with modular grid switches in the kitchen.... although they also have a slim range, im using 25mm boxes so limited with space.

Real product reviews, please.... Not interested in views of CEF in general

Not seen or used it yet, but also getting pestered to try it.
The daft thing is our branch don't have any yet, not due in till later this week!
Aaand they may have done me a job lot of the old stuff too at a very reasonable price!

Some of the old M2 gear wasn't bad sockets and spurs seemed very reasonable, the light switches always felt a bit cheap though not had one fail yet! hopefully the new stuff will be even better!

Why would you? Click are not expensive anyway and a pound to a penny, anything CEF own brand is absolute tripe.
I have to agree with this.
Why would you bother when Hager and Click are readily available at a decent price just about anywhere.
CEF own branded stuff is notorious for being low quality.

Wondered if it was a customer request, albeit an unusual one.

Therein lies the problem. I see no merit in further circular debate, so will bow out of this discussion.

I do a lot of dimming with large residential systems and they are largely triac-based. They work well and are almost always LED-based these days...

Absolutely correct they hold water, shrouds are totally unnecessary. 20s is 24mm spanner, 20 large is 30mm spanner.

I'm not entirely certain as it's very tough, but brittle when cold.
