Past caring now...nothing I can do will change anything. However, whatever deal or no deal happens, a few weeks down the line some hundreds of problems will appear that no-one thought of...and we and our former European cousins will find a work-around.
"Hello, is that BMW Sales in Germany?"
"Ja...I mean yes!"
"Ok, I'd like to buy some cars please, to sell in England"
"Sure, no problem...how much discount do you want? We can ship them to Eire, and the guys will drive them over the border then put them on the ferry to Stranraer...Nicola will ignore them as she is a friend of ours"
"OK, that's brilliant! I'll email you the exact specs tomorrow morning."

Reports of the possibility of electrical power shortages are becoming increasingly widespread.

So my kids at secondary school have been told to self isolate. Early xmas holidays...
but what does this mean for me working?
They are staying in the house, neither have symptoms, but one kid on their bus has had a positive test.
Do I have to stay in? Please? I could do with a week off.
Also eldest is coming home from uni on Friday... and she’s had tests, and is safe to travel.
She is, however, also bringing the boyfriend with her for a few days. Just to top it off this week, he’s vegan, so there’s going to be some interesting things for dinner.

On a lighter note. In my Lego Star Wars advent calendar the other day, I got a small model of the Razer Crest ship from The Mandolorian. I just left it in a little pile of bits.

Spoilers .??

Couldn't get my lad a Lego Star Wars advent callender this year as only ones left available were silly money. He had to make do with the City one. I noticed the Harry Potter ones were all in the clearance sale !

Why are you wasting it on a child?

I think mine was 25 from Tesco, but other places were almost double that.

I bought it for my lad, didn't say he gets to build the models. While he's distracted with the maltesers calander I get the little bag open and "start" it for him.

Don't you like the Mandalorian then ?

Yes, I do... but after the episode a couple weeks back, thought it a waste of time to build it.
I suppose I could have built it, then pinged it off the table...
Anyone else think baby Yoda is turned into a little ----?
