i good spark on my firm had to search for the fuseboard after 3 years when something tripped.

they didnt have a clue where it was at first

Asked to see the 'fuse board' in a council house and thought I was in luck as I was directed to the upstairs airing cupboard as I had to run a supply to the attic. Sorry love that's the boiler, I'll just have a wonder lol

Much though I hate using terms like "bulb" and "plug socket", I do mostly domestic work, and these are the terms most of my customers use. Sometimes it is just easier to use their terms, rather than start to explain how bulbs grow in the ground, etc. Plus it can come across a bit rude to be correcting all their terminology.
