Exactly!!

You should have seen the confusion in the engineering industry during the change over from Imperial to Cillimetres. Drawings arriving on the shop floor printed on Metric sized paper with Metric dimensions which had been converted directly from the original Imperial dimensions and given to a bloke whose machine and measuring instruments were Imperial. The poor sod (me) had to spend half an hour or so with calculator & pencil changing all the dimensions from Metric back to Imperial before the job could be started. ... Madness!!!

The Grantham grocer's daughter fixed it though when she arrived on the scene with her Final Solution ..... :censored:

I remember it well, although I'd rather forget it.

Hi all, you all seem to be having a good laugh. Method of earthing is TNCS in meter cupboard 25m from house, swa 25mm has been run into an isolator with tails out in the meter cupboard, just wondering if an additional earth stake would be required nearer the house. Just want to cover my arse now before the board come out to liven it up.
Thanks for your brains

Good man, you have a sense of humour!

Who ran the SWA and how many cores is it? and why would you want an earth stake? Just asking!
