do I need an earth stake - metre is 25m from fuesboard

Hi all, you all seem to be having a good laugh. Method of earthing is TNCS in meter cupboard 25m from house, swa 25mm has been run into an isolator with tails out in the meter cupboard, just wondering if an additional earth stake would be required nearer the house. Just want to cover my arse now before the board come out to liven it up.

Where is the overload protection for the SWA ???? I asked earlier its a crucial part of the design.

OK....reasonable hat on.
No an additional earth electrode is not required if the entire system is connected to a TNCS earth. There are those who suggest it is a good idea though,as it will reduce the risk of voltages appearing on conductive parts in the (highly unlikely) event of a broken neutral on the supply side.
I have never rodded a TNCS installation myself.
Bear in mind that main bonding in the house will have to meet the requirements for a TNCS system,ie minimum 10mm back to the MET.

This is what ive been trying to point out from the start several times .... he gives the impression he's using the DNO cutout fuses as upfront protection or he doesn't know the difference between a switchfuse and an isolator.

I do hope that 25mm SWA cable is 3 core, or it won't comply for bonding purposes at the house. That is, the steel wire armouring will not be have a sufficient CSA to comply for bonding purposes, it will only comply as a CPC!!
