hi guys could someone help with identifying what JIB grade i would be able to get with my current qualification as everyone seems to have different opinions on the matter, i currently hold.......

17th eddition
2391
NVQ L3
2330 L2 & L3

just been layed off so need the card instead of paying for a CSCS card. any advice would be great thanks in advance.

Sorry,I'm a bit late on this thread. My story is similar to GaryM's last post.
I applied for the JIB card in 2007ish without the am2 for approved status.
I supplied my
C & G 236 part 1 (with am1 award on it)
C & G 236 part 2
16th edition
2391
A current ECS assessment. I was told I needed references from past employers, which I duly provided. They gave me approved status. On the back of my card it says...

industry assessed,IEE current regs,c&g 2391
Hope this helps.

probably because i was a jib graded apprentice is why i had to do my am2 for my regrade i thought everyone had to do it

god the electrical industry can be complicated some times they dont make it easy lol

It’s sad that you had to say no more money to them for them to pull their fingers out.
