just been zapped from my kitchen sink why did it happen

hi i would like to know why i just received an electric shock from my kitchen sink all i did was touch the tap to turn it on i got hit n it hurt why would this happen?

ive used the tap before i've lived here for 7 years whats up with it why did i get a shock?

would an electrian cost alot of money to fix it?

Where is the cockcroft bloke to explain whats going on when you need him?,if everything was bonded together in the kitchen including the op there would of been no shock correct lol

it may be just that the hot water feed has burned through a badly run cable...and as such has got a voltage sitting on it....

erm nope

Bonding will not stop you getting a shock so don't do like this guy has done and touch it again ffs

I did offer my services, I've a very nice pair of kid leather gloves going spare. My size nine stilettos also have rubber soles and heels.
