is this correct for lighting circuit of 1.5mm line and 1mm cpc
ze+R1+R2=zs

b6 mcb ze R1+R2
6.18ohms - 0.8ohms =5.38ohms

cable per meter = 0.03020ohms so 5.38ohms/0.03020=178.1M

does this mean my lighting circuit can be this length 178M and still be within zs value... cheeers if makes sense

or a 1.5mm ring final, doubles the possible load as well. you've got to walk all the way back so you might as well pull a return leg in while you're at it,

??? That reminds of a house I tested a couple of year's ago where all the lighting circuits were done in 'rings' and the power in radials, and amazingly it passed!, the guy was very eccentric, and he had rewired the house himself. Got a tad confused me thinks

You can't really argue with the principal I suppose.

I talked to a chap a few weeks ago who proudly informed me that he had rewired his own house entirely in MICC!

I made a joke about his unistrut fire surround and medium duty return flange tray plate shelving but it fell on deaf ears!
