Mentors Wanted For Trainees

If any of the more experienced members would like to become a mentor on the trainee forum please reply to this thread. The link to this thread will be posted in the staff room for admin. Please remember that these are verified trainees in this forum and MUST be treated with respect when answering.

Yes the trainee forum is active and there's new trainees arriving there regularly.

3. assuming the answer to 2. is no - can i poke them with a pointy stick

I take it the trainee section is hidden? unless your a trainee/ mentor - so no chance to look around to get an idea first?

Still waiting and the weekend was last weekend.....am i right in guessing it's like an invoice payment, i have to wait 90 days for commercial payment and the same applies for getting into the trainee forum, i will probably be qualified by the time i get on there lol. I'm sure the poor wee sausage is busy but we must have more than one person who is overseeing this part of the forum....or am i being optomistic beyond my reasonable capacity here.

It's been another 4 weeks since i requested someone to accept my application for a 2nd time. Seriously????? That's now 8 WEEKS since i originally applied, Guys cmon.....i know were in recession here but this is taking things to a new level.

I'm usually patient about these things but i think waiting 2 months for someone to click a button is verging on the ridiculous.

I might have to go down to the wholesalers and put a request in for 2 boxes of optomism and ask for discount lol.

Let's see what the next 2 months bring, maybe i will have been accepted by then......tick tick tick tick.

Same for me, application opened on 17th January and sent a message to a moderator 3 weeks ago!

Happy to offer any advice regarding the industrial fault finding/control/plc side of things and even what goes on as an offshore electrician which can help if you wish to get into that sector.
