think i may have one mate i will have a search on the hard drive. if not i am sure but i think if you go to metrel and pop in the serial the site will let you download

I have a mi3000 can't see manual on metrel downloads site, never been happy with the tester seem to get very different readings on insulation testing anyone else had same problems?

For me it was a bit of figuring out to at first but now I find it simple to use. I personally really like it in all honesty, never really had any problems with it and have had it for the best part of a year.

I realise that this is quite an old post .... but yes, I have been getting some very odd Insulation Resistance readings. Did you find a solution?

The leads are a year old. I'm charging the battery at the moment but it was showing about 1/2 charge I guess when I was testing earlier. If its as simple as a low charge then I'll be delighted.

I had the same problem with mine. Found a loose connection inside connector/probe end of one of the test leads. Re-soldered connection, good as new. No problems since.

Absolutely correct they hold water, shrouds are totally unnecessary. 20s is 24mm spanner, 20 large is 30mm spanner.
