has anyone got any information on what was 2360 part 101 and what was required??
city and guilds saying that they have no information on me completing said part although i know i did. i have since done 2360 part 2, 2381-10, 2391-10 and i am undergoing nvq3.
an electrician without this qualification is like trying to do electrics without a screwdriver and don't know if i can complete nvq3 without it or get jib card as required.
basicly my career is in jeopardy.

no one ever there when i need help tut.
took 2360-10 in 1997 was sure i completed course and i still have to certs floating about.
in 2007 took 2360-20 and completed course recieved 2 certs
2008 took 2391 insp and test and got a red cert
2011 took 2381-10 as city and guilds said i didnt have 2360 part 2
went to college told this had hapened before and was resolved as when course taken lecturer retired and may not have put in all paperwork.
took nvq3 3 weeks ago and paid in full as believed college would sort this out and the march deadline was aproaching
now city and guilds saying that i did not complete 2360-1 in 1997 although as in the case of 2360 part 2 i have all examinations passed certs but not a overall certificate of completion.
this stress is too much if it wasnt for my 1 year old daughter i would of jumped off a bridge long ago,i thought i was coming to the end of a long and hard strugle to complete all the requirements but a question still hangs over whether all the work i have done is pointless.
anyone know of any options i have if city and guilds don't release my certs?
apart from jumping off a bridge.
is nvq3 pointless?

the college say they dont keep records that long they didnt have any records for my 2007 cert never mind going back to 1997, i am hoping city and guilds will realise an error has occured and realise that i could not achieve the rest of my certificates without the required 2360-1. the college have been contacting city and guilds on my behalf trying to resolve this.
the certificates i have got for 2360-1 have my wrong birthdate on them, so i hope they can see that errors do hapen.

if this is not resolved i will ask why i was permited to undergo following up qualifications without notification up untill 2011.

Not got access to my certs at the minute but I completed the 236 pt1 and AM1 in 1986. This then led to 236 pt2...the to pt3( C course) and finally AM2 after four year apprenticeship. Dont know when they added another 0 on the end of it??

Just realised he said 'old timers' having qualifications in the late 90s.....jesus I did mine in late 80s...I must be a museum piece..............cheeky whippersnapper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!lol

yeah might of added a a 0 at the end by mistake.

Steve 1442, PART 3 or C , was classed as TECHNICIAN level in the late 80's, I took the 15th in 1989/91 236/1/2 , and im 40 this year, I guess? im a "old timer"/ "old school" ??? PS for you YOUNGER one's the 16th FIRST edition can in to play, in 1992,

ALSO have I missed something? or is the 18th OUT ? As I thought (17th) 2008 was just being amended this JANUARY?
