has anyone got any information on what was 2360 part 101 and what was required??
city and guilds saying that they have no information on me completing said part although i know i did. i have since done 2360 part 2, 2381-10, 2391-10 and i am undergoing nvq3.
an electrician without this qualification is like trying to do electrics without a screwdriver and don't know if i can complete nvq3 without it or get jib card as required.
basicly my career is in jeopardy.

vince is this the numbers written on the actual certificate that was issued?
i only have acheivement towards certificates as i believe my father took my actual certificate to work to show the electrician there when i passsed.

i know what you mean mate how btec national cert is onc is for another day !
if all the exam bodies kept it simple then we might not to work who has what qualifiactions

Well how old does that mak me feel I did mine in 1978
I sat Electrical Principles B course (approved)
and Electrical Regulations B course (approved)
A course was Electrician
B course was Approved Electrician
C course was Technician

PS maybe thats why I picked Oldtimer

i was 5 years old when you took yours! i felt old on this site listening to some, and ime 36.
thats why i put in old timers however will make a note it has got more responses than some of my other posts.

i think i will just keep pushing college and city and guilds to release my certs then get my jib card meenwhile complete nvq3 and hopefully they will release that as well.
my only other option is go into house bashing and join neic, i might do that anyway in the future.

any other qualifications worth doing?

more exspense then, See what they say after you taken NVQ, used to be C & G just to confuse things, although my 17TH "UPGRADE" WAS level 3, had to do 4 day course, as 2001 16th Upgrade, (MAY) and not post that date! so more Exspense
