has anyone got any information on what was 2360 part 101 and what was required??
city and guilds saying that they have no information on me completing said part although i know i did. i have since done 2360 part 2, 2381-10, 2391-10 and i am undergoing nvq3.
an electrician without this qualification is like trying to do electrics without a screwdriver and don't know if i can complete nvq3 without it or get jib card as required.
basicly my career is in jeopardy.

okay....

The part one assessment in electrical installation work. (2360/1)

Acheivement measurement tests - AM1

Electrical installation competences Part 2 (2360/2)
Assignment.
Centre assessment.

All collages, universities etc keep records of any official certificates they have awarded!! What there telling you, is that there too dammed lazy to go through the archives to find them!! City & Guilds organisation will also have records of any awards they have issued... So if you have been awarded these certificates, there will always be a record of them somewhere.

I managed to get hold of my fathers indentures and every certificate he was awarded, ....and that was a dam sight longer ago than your talking about, ...lol!!. I initially got the same runaround your getting, but insistence wins the day!!! ...lol!!!

Joined Royal Air Force straight from school in 1978. Got trained and they gave me some bits of paper. left RAF in 1986 and got a proper job, no one including me knew what all the bits of paper were but they were good enough to get me a job. I was an Avionics Engineer, and the feeling i got was that most peoples opinions were "if he can fix a Tornado, then mending a light should be straightforward" How wrong they were.

Cheers..Howard
